Delta-8 THC Pricing Revealed: The Best Price for Delta 8 Vapes, Tinctures, Gummies and Flowers

The second half of year 2020 saw a sharp rise in the demad for Delta-8 THC products. While this cannabinoid has been arround for as long as cannabis exists, no one ever considered it to be an independent product until a few months ago, when it was first introduced as hemp-derived Delta-8 THC, hence legal to be sold online. Once that happened, everything changed…
In this article i will look into Delta-8 THC pricing and reveal what is the best retail price for Delta 8 THC vapes cartridges, Delta 8 tinctures, Delta-8 THC gummies and Delta-8 THC flowers.

The data we are sharing has been collected from many websites offering Delta-8 THC products. We have included only official websites run by the suppliers themselves, or, first-hand retailers, sourcing from them. As much as possible, we tried not to include data coming from “super-market websites” offering a variety of products, from multiple brands, as their prices tend to be higher.

Quick reminder, in the Delta 8 Weekly newsletter we are sharing weekly deals on what we believe are the top Delta-8 THC products. If you are interested in trying this new exciting cannabinoid, or you want to stock-up on Delta-8 THC product, subscribe to it now and save hundreds of dollars using our coupons!

What is the real price for Delta-8 THC products?

Before looking into the complex structure of Delta-8 THC pricing, we should keep in mind that there are other factors other than the price are very important such as quality, support, 3rd party lab result, shipment, packaging, etc. Whenever shopping for cannabinoids, be aware that there are many in our industry that still don’t follow the best business practices, or lack the necessary experience needed to sell cannabinoid-based products.

That’s why, in this early stage of the Delta-8 THC ‘industry’ we prefer to buy only from companies that we trust. Usually those who have been selling hemp products for a while, before adding Delta-8 THC to their inventory.

As Delta-8 THC products only arrived recentrly to the market, there are no more than a few product categories that have ‘matured’ enough to be discussed in an article such as this one: Delta 8 THC vape cartridges, tinctures, gummies, and Delta 8 flowers . Other product categories, such as dabs, distillates, edibles, softgels, disposable vape pens and topicals are also availabe online, but their prices are still ‘all over the place’. Hopefully they will be included in our next review.

1ml Delta 8 THC Vape Cartridges

10 Dollar Vape Carts
10 Dollar Vape Cartridges

The first and by far the most popular product is the 1ml Delta-8 THC vape cartridges. While 0.5ml carts exist, they are usually 2/3 of the price of the 1ml or higher, so you better off ignore them completely.

The main two types of vape cartridges sold online are the ones with BDT (Botanically Derived Terpenes) or with CDT (Cannabis Derived Terpenes) reffering to the origin of the terpenes used in the product. We have discussed the differences between them in our Delta-8 THC vape cartridges article HERE. CDT are usually sold for a higher price, but the difference, when exist, is very small, a few dollars at most.

While the market offers a variety of prices, on average, you could get these carts anywhere between $19.95 to $34.95. Even websites that offer vape carts for $39.95 (and there are quite a few of them), usually offer a 3-pack option, bringing the price down to the range specified above.

During holiday season, or as part of our weekly deals (in the Delta 8 Weekly newsletter) we have seen the price going down to between $14.95 to $19.95 and sometime even lower. Whenever you see such a deal, grab it in both hands, as you are getting a really good price.

Right now, one of the deals we are featuring is a $10 full gram Delta-8 THC vape cartridges. The lowest deal we have seen in a long time. This is a MUST BUY as these deals are rare!

BEST PRICE:
Full gram Delta-8 THC vape cartridges for only $10

Delta-8 Gummies

Delta-8 THC Pricing: Delta-8 Gummies
Delta-8 THC Pricing: Delta-8 Gummies

When it comes to Delta-8 THC gummies, there already plenty of products arround. However, the variety of products is still somewhat limited and they are almost identical to each other. This is changing as we speak, and we already see some very interesting formulas blending Delta-8 THC with CBN, CBD, CBC and other cannabinoids.

Looking at strength of Delta-8 THC gummies, the average is 20mg to 25mg, but you could find higher dosage, such as 75mg gummy, and lower, such as 15mg gummy.

To make our life easier, we will only look at the 25mg gummies, coming in a bag of 20, all together 500mg of Delta-8 THC. The normal price for the 500mg bag is $29.99 to $39.99, but lately we saw this price going down to $20 and even lower. Therefore, a fair price should be arround $20 or less.

BEST PRICE: $10/bag for 500mg Delta-8 THC gummies.

Currently we are featuring a deal where you can get 500mg Delta-8 THC gummies, for as low as $10/bag.

Delta-8 THC Pricing: Delta-8 THC Tinctures

When it comes to Delta-8 THC tinctures, you can find a variety of strengths, blends and flavors. While a few months ago, the first tinctures arrived with low-mid strength, such as 500mg and 1000mg, now it is easy to find 2500mg, 5000mg and even 10,000mg, which is an extremely strong dosage to be honest…

Regrading the price, they are still all over the place and while the avergae price of 1000mg Delta-8 THC tincture, is between $29.95 to $39.95, you can start to see 10,000 mg products sold for less than $100.

In my opinion, the days when you were expected to pay close to $40 for 1000mg ticture are gone and now, you could find much better Delta-8 THC deals, on high-dosage tinctures such as 5000mg and 10,000mg Delta-8 THC.

As a result a fair price for 1000mg should be anywhere below $20, 5000mg should be sold between $50 to $90 and 10,000mg shouldn’t go over $149.99. The only reason to pay more is when you want to buy a ‘brand’ and then off-course, you are expected to pay an extra. However, in a young industry there are no established brands, so why pay the extra?

Right now, one of the deals we are featuring is a 10,000mg Delta-8 THC tincture for only $90. The must-have deal as the price for high-dosage tinctures is much higher.

BEST PRICE: 10,000mg Delta-8 THC for less than $100.

Delta-8 THC Flowers

Delta-8 THC Pricing - Delta-8 THC Flowers
Delta-8 THC Pricing: Delta-8 THC Flowers

First we need to understand what exactly are Delta-8 THC flowers. Unlike THC, CBD and CBG (THCa, CBDa and CBGa to be more precise), Delta-8 THC is not the main cannabinoid in hemp or in cannabis, but a minor one, only arriving in small amounts. Therefore, you can’t find naturaly occuring high-Delta8 flowers, but only hemp flowers treated with Delta-8 THC distillate.

The fact it is a treated/sparyed/infused product presents us with a new set of questions about the methods been used, the real levels of cannabinoids in the infused product and the quality measurements taken in the process. We will cover it in a later article. Another question is how to choose the right Delta-8 THC flower, which has been covered here.

Currently, Delta-8 THC flowers are usually based on either high-CBD or high-CBG hemp flowers. To make it easier to understand it means that high-CBD infused flowers will have high amounts of both CBD and Delta-8 THC. The same rule applied to high-CBG flowers, just replace CBD with CBG.

Therefor, when it comes to choosing the right flower, your first choice is to decide whether you like your flowers to have high levels of CBD or or high levels of CBG, beside Delta-8 THC. Your next choice should be picking a strain you like and search for it, assuming the terpenes profile will remain mostly the same.

As it is still hard to find good Delta-8 THC flowers, the prices are completely insane. We have seen suppliers buying a pound of good hemp flowers for $150-$300/lb, infuse it with Delta-8 disty (which they have paid less than $50 for it) and sell it for more than triple the cost.

BEST PRICE: Your best choice will be to either buy an ounce for $100 or less, which is a fair price for both you and the seller, or get a pound for between $850 to $1000. This price is expected to drop within a month or two, when more suppliers will begin to offer more Delta-8 flower deals.

Right now, one of the deals we are featuring is Delta-8 THC Smalls for only $49/oz. This is a great price for Delta-8 THC flowers, as ounces are usually sold for $99 and more!
