But, with a vast array of new THC cannabinoids jockeying for our attention, choosing just one isn’t always easy. And, that’s where THC blends come from. This new trend in the industry allows us to enjoy the effects of multiple THC cannabinoids simultaneously, as you’re about to find out here. Use the code HIGHTIMES25 to try THC blends for 25% off here.
What are the Strongest THC Blends?
THC blends refer to hemp products that contain more than one type of THC cannabinoid—for instance, delta-8 THC + THC-P. What this does is allow us to experience a completely one-of-a-kind experience which results not only from the combined effects of each, but the synergistic reaction of taking them together, which can give us something super desirable, like enhanced feelings of euphoria or relaxation.
THC blends come in all kinds of product forms—vapes, tinctures, gummies and so on—and contain a variety of cannabinoid distillates, which are purified extracts of individual cannabinoids in the hemp plant. And, long-time fan favorite Binoid is the brand that’s leading the way.
Binoid’s first foray into THC blending was their Knockout Blend, beginning as a disposable vape in two great strains—Fire OG and Ice Breaker—but now also available in gummies and tinctures. This blend combines THC-P, HHC-P and THC-H, which, if you happen to be a serious hemp enthusiast, you may know are three mind-blowingly intoxicating cannabinoids derived from the plant. The result is an ultra-potent and euphoric experience that is guaranteed to “knock” you off of your feet.
Why Choose Knockout Blend: Knockout Blend is a great option for the hemp enthusiast looking for an intensely potent high that comes with lots of sweet euphoria.
Binoid Master Blend
Another great option is Binoid’s Master Blend, a carefully curated cannabinoid trio consisting of THCP-O, THCH-O and PHC. The former two cannabinoids are acetated forms of THC-P and THC-H respectively, to enhance the psychoactive potency of what are already the two most intoxicating cannabinoids naturally found in cannabis. Then, we have PHC, which is an acetated form of delta-9 that converts into delta-9 in the body.
Binoid’s Master Blend is available in the form of a disposable vaping device containing a very generous 3 grams of vape oil. And, you can choose between two very special strains: King Kong and Godzilla.
Why Choose Master Blend: Master Blend is a phenomenal choice for the enthusiast who wants something that’s absolutely out of this world in terms of its psychoactive potency, to make them incredibly high.
Then, we have Binoid’s Beast Mode Blend—a blend that lives up to its name, made up of THC-H, THC-B and HHC-P—3 highly intoxicating cannabinoids that can give you a euphoric effect that’s out of this world. This blend comes in the form of vapes—disposables and pre-filled cartridges—and a variety of top-shelf strains, including Strawberry Banana, Berries n’ Cream, Blue Dragon, Red Dragon and more.
Why Choose Beast Mode Blend: Beast Mode Blend is all about the dreamy, uplifting effects that so many of us seek out when we take cannabis products. It’s also an extremely powerful combination when it comes to the high you’ll be treated to.
Finally, we have Binoid’s Power 9 Blend, a very exciting combination of delta-9 THC, THC-B and THCjd, with the latter two cannabinoids being more potent than the former, and together having the strong potential to induce a deeply gratifying relaxation effect in the mind & body. This blend, like Beast Mode, is made available in both pre-filled vape cart and disposable vape pen form, with ultra-beloved strain options like Melon Gum, Tangerine Haze, Caramel Cream and Candy Apple.
Why Choose Power 9 Blend: Power 9 Blend gives you two things that so many enthusiasts crave: a full-on mind and body relaxation, along with the effects of delta-9 THC through a legal avenue.

Cannabinoid Candy Store
If you’re reading up to this point and wondering what cannabis compounds Weed.com offers, the answer is quite a few. This one stop shop wants to ensure that you get the whole 360 experience, meaning they offer a wide selection of products uniquely made using different cannabinoids. That way, you can experience the cannabis plant in its many forms. To give you a head start, we’ll list a few:
If you found your way to this article, odds are you’re familiar with this compound. It wouldn’t be a head shop without Delta-9 THC. It’s the primary cannabinoid that produces psychoactive effects that many enjoy. It’s the compound found in many traditional cannabis products that will get you high.
Wait, is Delta-9 THC legal to buy online? You betcha’! Due to the 2018 Farm Bill, consumers can purchase Delta-9 products online at levels <.3%, making the most of a happy little escape clause. So, make the most of it and shop Weed.com’s selection of Delta-9 products like Guavaberry Edible Gummies.
As many know by now, Delta-8 THC is Delta-9’s close but less potent cousin. Within the last year, we’ve heard a lot of buzz surrounding Delta-8 and its ability to arouse a peaceful high. This is due to the potency. Unlike Delta-9, when taking Delta-8, you’re less prone to experiencing anxiety or paranoia, making it an excellent option for someone looking for a tame experience but still feeling psychoactive effects. Over at Weed.com, you can find tons of Delta-8 products, including Delta-8 Disposable vapes, or if you’re looking to stock up, you can find Delta-8 THC Vape Cartridge Bundles.
If you’re unfamiliar with THC-H, don’t be too hard on yourself. This cannabinoid was only recently discovered within the last year or so. However, this compound quickly gives many other cannabinoids a run for their money. THC-H is the second most potent cannabinoid in all of the hemp plant, supposedly with a strength that’s 25 times stronger than the regular amount of THC. Woozers! When describing this high, some describe it as a peaceful, delightful, and overall transcendent experience. At Weed.com, you can find many THC-H products, such as vape cartridges and more, to help with your introduction to THC-H.
Bongs, Rigs, & Wraps, Oh My!
When you stop by Weed.com, don’t forget to stock up on your cannabis accessories. This one-stop shop has everything you’d need plus more for your next smoke sesh, from bongs to dab rigs and grinders; everything is convenient with just one checkout. Plus, you can find limited edition items on Weed.com, such as Puffco Budsy Water Bottle Pipes. The days of going to the dispensary and heading over to the glass shop after are now over.
Now that you’re aware of this one-stop cannabis shop, all that’s left to do is head over to Weed.com to check out the products, cannabinoids, and accessories for yourself. Plus, when buying online through Weed.com, you’ll receive free shipping and guaranteed satisfaction with free returns. And don’t forget that your cannabis purchases are only 1-3 days away. So take advantage now with 20% off using the code HIGH20. So, what are you waiting for, then? We’ll meet you over there!
One Arkansas lawmaker wants to ban the hemp products that have taken over shelves at gas stations and convenience stores.
Republican state Sen. Tyler Dees introduced a bill last week that would ban the likes of Delta-8, Delta-9 and Delta-10 –– legal, but under-regulated compounds that have been known to produce a high similar to that of cannabis.
“It’s because of an accessibility issue where you can walk into a regular gas station and purchase this product as if you’re purchasing Skittles or any other candy,” Dees told local news station THV11.
Hemp-derived products have become ubiquitous in recent years, particularly following Congress’ passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized industrial hemp production.
But critics have lamented that many of those hemp products are subject to little, if any, regulation, posing risks to consumers who believe what they’re consuming to be mostly harmless.
Dees claimed to the station that poison control “is being contacted of cases where kids are, are digesting products that are causing harm to them.”
THV11 followed up with the state’s poison control, which “said that while there are no specific numbers when it comes to Delta 8 because the data didn’t start being collected until January 2021, they have been seeing an increase in kids being exposed to THC products.”
“Any THC-containing product is potentially harmful. Whether or not it’s Delta 8 or Delta 9,” Ari Filip, the medical director for Arkansas Poison Control Center, told the station. “We worry about this having psychoactive effects so it should be kept away, locked inaccessible to children.”
The state’s Republican governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was elected in the November election, voted against the proposal.
“I don’t think that with the drug epidemic that we have across this state, frankly across the country, that adding and giving more access to that does anything to benefit Arkansas, so I certainly wouldn’t be supportive of that,” Huckabee Sanders, a former press secretary for Donald Trump, said in October.
In a video last fall urging voters to reject the legalization measure, Huckabee said that “you aren’t the one who is going to be making the money, drug cartels will.”
“And if you are one of those people that can sell the drug, maybe you’ll make a buck off of the gullible people who will somehow convince themselves this is absolutely harmless,” the former governor added.
Medical cannabis is legal in Arkansas, however, and a co-sponsor of the bill to ban Delta-8 and other hemp products, state Sen. Jonathan Dismang, insisted that the measure would not affect that program.
“I mean, you have to have your card and there are benefits that are, you know, for those patients, this isn’t about that,” Dismang told THV11. “I mean, a high school kid right now can go purchase. Again, I think that’s wrong.”
Arkansas legalized medical cannabis in 2016, when a majority of voters approved an amendment authorizing the treatment.
Per the state’s Department of Health, patients with the following conditions may qualify for a medical cannabis prescription: “Cancer; Glaucoma; Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome; Hepatitis C; Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; Tourette’s syndrome; Crohn’s disease; Ulcerative colitis; Post-traumatic stress disorder; Severe arthritis; Fibromyalgia; Alzheimer’s disease; Cachexia or wasting syndrome; Peripheral neuropathy; Intractable pain which is pain that has not responded to ordinary medications, treatment, or surgical measures for more than six (6) months; Severe nausea; Seizures including without limitation those characteristic of epilepsy; Severe and persistent muscle spasms including without limitation those characteristic of multiple sclerosis; and any other medical condition or its treatment approved by the Department of Health.”
Thanks to new cannabis laws in Louisiana, the city’s famous Hurricanes, Hand Grenades, and Big Ass Beers have some new competition. Crescent 9 THC Seltzer, the highly satisfying cannabis beverage from New Orleans-based Crescent Canna, is now available at select bars and venues throughout the city.
The growing list includes one of the city’s most iconic music venues, Tipitina’s, which has hosted legendary acts like Dr. John, the Neville Brothers, and the powerhouse funk band Galactic, which now owns the place.
“We’re happy to be carrying Crescent 9 THC Seltzer at Tipitina’s,” says Galactic bassist Robert Mercurio. “It’s a natural fit for a club like ours, plus it’s tasty and refreshing. Very soon we expect almost all of the bars and clubs in town to be carrying Crescent 9, and the Tipitina’s family is excited to be among the first in New Orleans to have it behind the bar.”
Is Marijuana Legal in New Orleans?
Although medical marijuana has been legal in New Orleans since 2015, recreational marijuana is still illegal. This doesn’t mean you’ll have to bring your medical card to bars. To order THC seltzer, you just need to be 21 or older with a valid photo ID.
How can this be? Well, although marijuana is illegal in New Orleans, hemp is fully legal. Delta-9 THC, the cannabinoid responsible for the intoxicating effects of marijuana, can also be derived from hemp—and the effects are the same. So New Orleans companies can use hemp-derived Delta-9 THC to make legal THC products.
Louisiana Cannabis Laws
In 2022, Louisiana passed Act 498 to affirm the legal status of hemp products and clarify how they are regulated. Legal cannabis products in Louisiana must contain exclusively hemp-derived cannabinoids and less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC.
All consumable hemp products need to be registered with the Louisiana Department of Health. To be registered, products must meet safety and quality standards, have accurate labeling, and be third-party lab-tested by an ISO 17025−accredited laboratory.
Legal THC Seltzer in Louisiana
Crescent 9 THC Seltzer was the first Delta-9 THC seltzer to be registered with the Louisiana Department of Health. With 6 mg of Delta-9 THC, 3 mg of CBD, and a touch of caffeine, Crescent 9 provides an uplifting psychoactive experience. This energizing beverage is perfect for a night out, and it won’t make you sleepy.
Low in calories but high in flavor, Crescent 9 THC Seltzer contains a refreshing tropical blend of fruit juice and puree with a hint of terpenes.
Benefits of THC Seltzer
Unlike THC gummies, THC seltzer provides fast-acting effects that you feel within 15 to 30 minutes, so you have more control over your experience, and therefore more power to ensure it’s a positive one. You can choose to coast on your current level of effects or elevate them by drinking more.
Highly refreshing and delicious, drinking THC seltzer is a thoroughly enjoyable way to use cannabis—no inhalation required! It’s also sippable and sharable, enabling a more social experience.
A Better Way to Party in the Big Easy
THC seltzer provides an uplifting buzz without booze, so you can skip the unpleasant after-effects of alcohol and still keep the party going. When you’re done partying, you’ll get a more restful sleep thanks to the relaxing effects of cannabis and you’ll avoid the next-day hangover.
Recognizing the negative effects of alcohol, the California Sober movement—referring to adults who are replacing alcohol with cannabis—continues to grow. According to a 2020 poll, 45% of adults over the age of 21 have been making the switch. The surging popularity of cannabis beverages will indubitably help accelerate this trend.
Where to Get Crescent 9 THC Seltzer
Crescent 9 THC Seltzer is already available at many locations in New Orleans, including MRB, Rainbow Grocery, Ra Shop, Simply CBD, Crescent City Vape, Tipitina’s, Kajun’s Pub, Arabella Casa Di Pasta, Twelve Mile Limit, Health 4 NOLA, Mushroom, The Herb Import Company, Up in Smoke, Town Crier, Broad Theater, Bamboulas, and Market 45.
Not in New Orleans? Adults who are 21 or older can order Crescent 9 THC Seltzer online at CrescentCanna.com. Orders are eligible for $5 flat-rate shipping, and shipping is free if your order exceeds $99.
THCA is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in both marijuana and hemp, being the dominant compound in the marijuana plant, and existing in more trace levels in hemp. THCA flower is fast becoming a highly in-demand product on the hemp market, offering a legal way to enjoy a delta-9 THC high, because THCA, which stands for “tetrahydrocannabinolic acid,” is just the raw form of THC that converts into delta-9 once it’s heated – like through smoking, vaping, or cooking.
Still, as we all know, not all THCA flower is made equally. The bottom line is that some products are simply superior to others, in terms of things like freshness, strain selection, and effectiveness. Let’s talk about where to buy the best THCA flower that the market has to offer. In fact, you can try THCA flower for yourself using the code HIGHTIMES25 for 25% off with fast & free shipping from Bloomz.
Can You Buy THCA Flower In Person?
The first choice you need to make when deciding where to buy your THCA flower is whether you want to buy it in person or online. Let’s talk about what type of shopping experience you’re in for if you choose to go the local, in-person route:
Smaller variety of products due to limited storage
Higher costs on flower to make up for overhead costs
Low freshness level due to low local demand, leading to products sitting on the shelves for a long time
Higher risk of ending up with fakes due to businesses that don’t specialize in hemp not knowing any better
Having to find a store that even sells THCA flower in your local area
But, if you do want to go the in-person route, you’re likely going to be able to choose from 2 different types of retailers:
Gas Stations/Convenience Stores: We really don’t recommend getting your flower here. These businesses are not about selling you the highest-quality products possible. And, since those who manage these types of businesses likely aren’t educated hemp experts, they themselves won’t even know if they’re carrying quality flower or not.
Vape Shops: By going with local vape shops, you have a slightly better of a chance of finding a good-quality product. But, don’t assume. Not all vape shop owners are well-versed in hemp-related matters. And, don’t assume all vape shops carry THCA flower, either.
At the end of the day, you should strictly avoid THCA flower being sold through an unlicensed party, like a vendor at a local pop-up market, or some stranger on Craigslist or Instagram that is offering to meet you in person, outside of a licensed business environment.
Why It’s Best To Buy Your THCA Flower Online
Basically, any serious hemp enthusiast will tell you that buying your flower from a trusted online hemp retailer is the best option. Here are the things you can look forward to when choosing to grab your THCA flower from a reputable online retailer, like Bloomz, that specializes in all things hemp.
Of course, no one will have a problem with the convenience of not having to leave home in order to buy THCA flower. Buying it online makes your life a whole lot easier, since you can just check out your cart and wait for the flower to arrive to you within a few days. Luckily, Bloomz Hemp even offers fast, free shipping and an easy to use website making the experience even easier and way more convenient for you.
Better Freshness Guarantee
Online retailers have a lot more visibility than local stores, as they get a lot of traffic due to worldwide exposure. As a result, online businesses typically have a very high product turnover rate, so that flower never sits on the shelves for long. Because of that, online THCA flower is usually sold extremely fresh, full of potent compounds and flavorful terpenes. Bloomz is known for having amazing prices on their THCA Flower as the quality is top notch and bulk prices are amazing.
More Affordable Prices
Because online stores don’t have such high overhead costs, they can offer you THCA flower at a much more affordable price. Many of them also offer free shipping, so you can really save. And, don’t forget that online businesses typically offer bulk-purchase options, like bundles, and hold deals and sales frequently, which is something you almost definitely won’t see in person. Bloomz is known for having amazing prices on their THCA Flower as the quality is top notch and bulk prices are amazing.
Quality Standards are Higher
With local stores, quality standards can leave a lot to be desired, as low local demand means fewer discerning consumers. Online retailers know that they’re extremely visible, and so they really need to go above and beyond to carry only the best of the best. Not only that, but the online hemp market is far more competitive, so companies just really can’t get away with carrying low-quality products. Bloomz Hemp has high product turnover that is made seasonally to guarantee fresh and potent products.
More THCA Flower Products to Choose from
Online stores usually have a lot more storage space to carry products, than, say, a gas station that can only carry a couple of hemp flower products on their crowded shelves. What this means is that you can find a lot more options when it comes to THCA flower, like a wider variety of strain choices and so on. Bloomz Hemp has bulk sizing, and many different strains of THCA flower that you will love and enjoy, easily having the largest selection of THCA flower on the market.
You Can Learn A Lot More About THCA Flower And The Company
Another thing about choosing an online retailer is that you can learn a lot more about how that company makes their flower, and the unique standards and practices of the company you’re buying from. It’s always nice to find out where the flower was actually grown, how the THCA distillate was made and other little details that can ultimately tell you a lot about the quality of what you’re getting. Bloomz values transparency when it comes to their flower, making user reviews and product information readily available on their website to keep you informed.
Not All THCA Flower is Made Equally, So Choose Wisely By Going With Bloomz
At the end of the day, you’re far more likely to feel satisfied with your THCA flower by choosing a trusted online hemp retailer, where you’ll be more confident that you’re getting a fresh, effective, and clean product.
At Bloomz, you can treat yourself to some of the highest-quality, top-shelf THCA flower on the market, infused with ultra-pure THCA distillate, available in a fantastic selection of strains, and always sold as fresh as can be. Available in a few rare and sought-after strains, like Grape Frosty, Han Solo, Mac, Platinum OG and more! Bloomz THCA Flower covers all of your bases with a cultivar for every need.
Meanwhile, you will be able to choose from a variety of sizes, while knowing that you’re getting unbeatable effectiveness and quality thanks to the freshness of the product, paired with the purity of the brand’s unique THCA distillate. Explore Bloomz THCA flower today with 25% off using the code HIGHTIMES25, and enjoy being treated to some of the best prices and quality around!

This week we have a pretty even mix of both cannabis and psychedelics news. 2023 Farm-Bill is coming soon, what to expect? A few popular topics explore the latest opioid to hit the market, which is said to be stronger than fentanyl and comes along with public fears of a worsening opioid epidemic. Also covered is how legal cannabis impacts big pharma, how a medical setting impacts psychedelic therapy, and more!
Considering how strong fentanyl is, and the absolute devastation it’s had on the American public, it’s a bit crazy to think that a new, and even stronger opioid was just released. It’s name is isotonitazene, and it is said to be 20-100 times more powerful than fentanyl, making it around 500 time stronger than morphine. Will this make the already terrible opioid situation, even worse?
Over the past few months, we’ve observed a significant decrease in the caliber of the vape cartridges we purchase. Strangely, it’s not the concentrate inside that’s the issue, but rather the carts themselves. Whether it’s leakage or complete disintegration, the majority of vape carts we’ve bought in the past year have been of poor quality. What’s going on?
It’s that time again… time for a new and “improved” farm bill. A farm bill is a set of laws that governs a wide array of food and agricultural program, including hemp which is federally legal. The last one sure shook things up with its legalization of industrial hemp and derived products. But it also created many messes. Now with the new 2023 farm bill under construction, the burning question is, how will it impact the industry?
As psychedelics gain acceptance quickly, laws in different states are changing to accommodate their possession and use. So far though, the only states to legalize have done so with an allowance for use in a medical/supervised setting. But is this really the most beneficial setting in which to use these compounds, or can it get in the way of true spiritual healing?
Don’t miss this amazing deal on premium THC-O gummies. This limited-time offer features a 6-pack of gummies, with 500mg of THC-O in each. For centuries, cannabis has been a widely used substance valued for its psychoactive effects and medicinal properties. Among the many cannabinoids found in cannabis, two of the most prevalent psychoactive compounds today are Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC. Despite their similar names, these compounds differ in their chemical makeup, psychoactive effects, medicinal uses, and legal status. What distinguishes Delta-8 THC from Delta-9 THC?
Columbia ended 2022 on a high note by announcing that medical cannabis is now a mandatory part of their healthcare program. That means that approved, plant-based cannabis products will be covered by insurance, for all residents. Resolution 2808 also added more medical conditions that can be treated with medical cannabis, like: chronic and neuropathic pain, cancer pain, sleep disorders, epilepsy, and fibromyalgia.
Because salvia has managed to mostly fly under the radar with only small windows of popularity over the years, it has managed to uphold a much looser legal structure than other hallucinogenic drugs. At the federal level, it’s actually completely legal. However, several states have implemented some form of legislation to regulate the plant and its products.
Monday’s suck, but according to past studies, one particular Monday is worse than the rest. Blue Monday, or the third Monday of January, holds the title of Blue Monday, the worst Monday of the year. An interesting facet to all this, is what happens on Blue Monday, and more specifically, do people use more drugs on that day in order to ease their Monday blues?

Cannabis has been a popular substance for centuries, mainly for its psychoactive effects, but also for its medical benefits. Two of today’s most popular psychoactive cannabinoids found in cannabis are Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC. While they may sound similar, they have distinct differences in their chemical structure, psychoactive effects, medical benefits, and legality. Delta-8 THC vs Delta-9 THC: what are the main differences between the two?
Delta-8 THC vs Delta-9 THC:
In recent years the popularity of both Cannabis and hemp have been growing steadily. Both plants contain a range of compounds known as cannabinoids, which have various effects on the body, both medical and recreational.
Two of the most well-known cannabinoids found in hemp and cannabis are Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC. While Delta-8 THC is a minor cannabinoid that is found in small amounts, Delta-9 THC, on the other hand, is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis. Both Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC have distinct differences in their chemical structure, psychoactive effects, medical benefits and legality, which we will explore in this article.
II. What is Delta-8 THC?
Delta-8 THC is a minor cannabinoid that occurs naturally both in hemp and in cannabis plants. However, it is a rare cannabinoid that could be found only in small amounts, usually less than 1% of the total cannabinoid content. Delta-8 THC is created when Delta-9 THC oxidizes, and it is also produced through a process called isomerization, which converts CBD into Delta-8 THC. As it is a rare cannabinoid, most of the Delta 8 we are using today, is hemp-derived, which really means, it was converted from CBD and remain legal, as a result of the farm bill loophole.
Delta-8 THC is known for its ability to induce a milder psychoactive effect than Delta-9 THC. It is believed to be less potent than Delta-9 THC and can provide a more relaxed, calm experience. It is also known for its potential medical benefits, including pain relief, reduced anxiety, and increased appetite.
III. What is Delta-9 THC?
Delta-9 THC is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, but also found in smaller numbers in hemp. It is responsible for the desirable euphoric “high” usually associated with using cannabis. As Delta-9 THC is naturally produced by the cannabis plant most of Delta 9 products found in the market today are not using synthetic cannabinoids. However, recently we have seen many Delta 9 products that are hemp-derived, which means that the have started their journey as CBD and converted into THC.
Delta 9 THC becomes psychoactive through a process called decarboxylation, which occurs when the cannabis is heated, such as when it is smoked or vaporized. This is another nice loophole, that allows THCA products to be legally sold, as they only converted to Delta 9 THC when heated. However, as you need to heat it inorder to use it, these legal safe products, are as potent as regular THC is…
Delta-9 THC is known for its potent psychoactive effects, which can include altered perception, increased heart rate, and impaired coordination. It is also associated with a range of potential medical benefits, including pain relief, reduced nausea, and increased appetite.
IV. Delta-8 THC vs Delta-9 THC
Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC are two similar cannabinoids with some key differences in their chemical structure, psychoactive effects, legality, and medical benefits. However, when it comes to products, you can easily find both Delta 9 and Delta 8 coming in a variety of products, such as vapes, gummies, tinctures, edibles, disposables, carts, dabs, flower, capsules, etc.
The main difference between Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC is in their chemical structure. Delta-8 THC has a double bond on the 8th carbon atom, while Delta-9 THC has a double bond on the 9th carbon atom. While it sounds like a small variation, as we can see below, this difference in the placement of the double bond results in some notable differences in their effects on the body.
It is safe to claim that in most cases and for most people Delta-8 THC is less psychoactive than Delta-9 THC, meaning that it has a milder and more relaxing effect on the body. Delta-8 THC is often described as providing a more clear-headed and focused high, with less anxiety and paranoia than Delta-9 THC. Some users have also reported feeling more energetic and creative after using Delta-8 THC. However, as the variety of products in the market is evolving, it is now very common to find blended products, featuting many cannabinoids, which makes it harder to back-up such claims.
On the other hand, Delta-9 THC is more potent and can induce a more intense high, sometimes causing anxiety, paranoia, and even in very rare cases, hallucinations in some users. Delta-9 THC can also cause physical effects such as dry mouth, red eyes, increased heart rate, and impaired coordination. For all trhat matters, when people discuss ‘Cannabis’ or ‘THC’ they usually refer to Delta-9 THC.
The legality of Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC is a complex and constantly evolving issue. As a result of the 2018 farm bill, Delta-8 THC is legal at the federal level, but some states have banned it, while others have not yet made a decision. In contrast, Delta-9 THC remains illegal under federal law, but has been legalized for medical or recreational use in some states. All that said, a new Farm Bill loophole allows hemp-derived Delta-9 THC to be sold ‘legally’…
As a result, in the US, the legality of Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC is largely determined by the source of the compounds and not by its psychoactive abilities. This might be change soom, in 2023 Farm Bill, coming sometime this year.
As we have seen, Delta-8 THC can be derived from hemp or cannabis, while Delta-9 THC is mainly found in cannabis, but also can derived from hemp. Under the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp and hemp-derived products were legalized at the federal level, as long as they contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. This includes Delta-8 THC, which can be extracted from hemp. This opening has allowed a whole new market of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC which legality is constantly under quiestioning. However, this market is booming now so anyone can get any products they want, as long as it is coming from hemp…
This means that Delta-8 THC, and in some cases, Delta-9 THC products that are derived from hemp and meet the requirements of the 2018 Farm Bill are legal at the federal level. However, some states have tried to ban it on a state level, while others have not yet made a decision on its legality. It is important to note that until 2023 Farm Bill will address these matters, the legality of THC at the state level can vary widely, and consumers should always check their state’s laws before purchasing or using Delta-8 THC or Delta-9 THC products.
Ignoring the Delta 9 loophole, Delta-9 THC remains illegal under federal law, although several states have legalized it for medical or recreational use. However, it is still illegal to possess, sell or use Delta-9 THC products at the federal level, regardless of whether they are used for medical or recreational purposes. As discussed earlier, this is only true unless it is hemp-derived, or unless the new farm bill will decide to make some clear order here.
It is important to note that the legality of Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC is a complex issue, and it is important for consumers to do their own research and understand the laws in their state before purchasing or using these products. Good luck with that…
Like Delta-9 THC, Delta-8 THC has shown potential in the treatment of various medical conditions. Some studies have suggested that Delta-8 THC may have antiemetic, analgesic, and anxiolytic effects, making it a potential treatment for nausea, pain, and anxiety. Additionally, Delta-8 THC has been found to stimulate appetite and can be used to combat the loss of appetite and weight loss associated with some medical conditions.
As the medical benfits of using cannabis is a huge field of study, we will devote a seperate article to it. However, when all debates are gone one thing remains true, which is the question is it good for you or not… My personal opinion is that if Delta-9 THC or Delta-8 THC have clear medical benefits (or even medicinal benefits) for you, this should be your decision whether or not to use it. However, under current regulations, nost people in the world are still denied this right and this is sad, especially when everyone see the huge medical benefits this plant is bringing us. Just be responsible when using it and act with caution.
As we can see in the article below, even Israel, the homeland of medical cannabis program, is now trying to restrict the access of medical cannabis to new patients.

After comparing and contrasting Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC, you may be wondering which one is right for you. The answer depends on your individual needs and preferences.
If you are looking for a milder psychoactive effect and don’t want to experience the anxiety or paranoia associated with high doses of Delta-9 THC, products with low to medium levels Delta-8 THC may be a better option. Delta-8 THC has been reported to have a more relaxing and calming effect than Delta-9 THC, while still providing the euphoria and pain relief associated with cannabis use. It also has less of a “couch-lock” effect, meaning that it is less likely to make you feel lethargic or sedated.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a stronger psychoactive effect, or if you have a high tolerance to cannabis and want a more potent product, Delta-9 THC may be a better choice. Delta-9 THC is more widely available and has been studied more extensively than Delta-8 THC, which means that there is more information available about its effects and potential benefits.
It’s worth noting that the assumptions above are not written in stone and that today’s products are usually high-potency blends, so either you try for yourself to find what is right for you, or you look into the labels and start following how each compound and terpenes is affecting you. If you plan to use it for medical and not for recreational, it might be a smart move to consult a medical proffessional, as this is your health after all.
Whatever you do start low and grow slow, be responsible and use it with caution. Also. last but not least, have fun, as it is cannabis after all…
VI. Everything might change with the 2023 Farm Bill
The 2023 Farm Bill is currently being constructed, and it is expected to bring changes to the legal status of hemp. A farm bill is an omnibus law that addresses a wide range of agricultural and food programs, and it is renewed every five years. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized industrial hemp, and the Domestic Hemp Production Program established hemp as an agricultural crop that can be eligible for USDA farm programs if it complies with USDA regulations. However, the 2018 bill did not legalize CBD for internal and medical uses, or synthetics like THC-O, which no longer fit the legal definition of hemp.
The industry has taken advantage of this confusion and created other products, such as delta-8 THC, HHC, and hemp-derived Delta-9 THC. As the new farm bill is constructed, it is expected that new policies will be put in place to clarify the legal status of hemp, including CBD and other cannabinoids, and to address any other issues created by the 2018 Farm Bill.
Once we will see what is the new legality of hemp-derived psychoactive products, we will see what products are going to be legally available in 2024.
VII. Hemp vs Cannabis
As we have seen, the legality of these psychoactive products is mostly determined by the source of the compounds and not by its psychoactive abilities. As both products can be made from either cannabis or hemp, it might help to stop and see the key differences between the two.
Hemp and cannabis are two varieties of the Cannabis plant, but they differ in their chemical composition, physical characteristics, and uses. The main differences between hemp and cannabis are:
Chemical Composition: Hemp and cannabis contain different levels of the cannabinoids THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol), which are the two main active compounds found in the Cannabis plant. Hemp contains very low levels of THC, which farmers are trying to be less than 0.3%, while cannabis can contain much higher levels of THC, up to 30% or more. CBD levels can also differ between the two plants.
Physical Characteristics: Hemp and cannabis also have different physical characteristics. Hemp plants are tall, narrow, and have fewer branches, while cannabis plants are shorter and bushier with more branches and leaves. Hemp also has thinner leaves and can grow in a wider range of climates than cannabis.
Uses: Hemp and cannabis have different uses. Hemp was always grown for industrial purposes such as making paper, textiles, and building materials, as well as for its seeds, which are used in food and beauty products. Hemp is an amazing plant with many potential uses, such as Hemp plastic for example, with over 50,000 when last counted. CBD can also be extracted from hemp and used for medicinal purposes. Cannabis, on the other hand, is primarily grown for its psychoactive effects and is used for recreational and medicinal purposes.
In summary, the main differences between hemp and cannabis are their chemical composition, physical characteristics, and uses. Hemp contains very low levels of THC and is often grown for industrial purposes, while cannabis contains higher levels of THC and is used for its psychoactive effects.
In conclusion, Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC are two different cannabinoids with distinct chemical structures, uses, medical benefts and psychoactive effects. While Delta-8 THC is a newer and less studied compound, it has been usually reported to have a milder psychoactive effect than Delta-9 THC and may be a good option for those who are looking for a more relaxing and less potent cannabis experience. Delta-9 THC, on the other hand, is the more widely known and widely used compound, and has been studied more extensively for its potential medical benefits.
It’s important to note that both Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC can have side effects, and their use should be approached with caution. As with any cannabis product, it’s important to ‘start low and grow slow’ to find the right level of effect. That way you wll also avoid from wating medicine… It’s also important to purchase products from reputable sources and to ensure that they have been third-party tested for purity and potency.
Ultimately, the choice between Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC depends on your individual needs and preferences. By understanding the differences between these two compounds, you can make an informed decision and choose the product that is right for you.

In an email response sent to Rod Kight of Kight Law Office PC on Feb. 13, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) stated that because delta-9-THCO and delta-8-THCO are synthetic and are not found naturally in cannabis, they do not count as hemp, and are therefore controlled substances.
Kight’s letter was originally sent in August 2022 (and a follow-up email sent last week on Feb. 7) with a request for the status of THC acetate ester (THCO) under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
Terrence L. Boos, Chief Drug & Chemical Evaluation Section Diversion Control Division penned the response, and clarified the agency’s stance on delta products. “The only substances of which the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is aware of the THC acetate ester are delta-9-THCO (delta-9-THC acetate ester) and delta-8-THCO (delta-8-THC acetate ester),” Boos said. “The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reviewed the CSA and its implementing regulations with regard to the control status of these substances.”
Boos explained that the CSA classifies “tetrahydrocannabinols,” or THC, as “naturally contained in a plant of the genus Cannabis (cannabis plant), as well as synthetic equivalents of the substances contained in the cannabis plant and/or synthetic substances, derivatives, and their isomers with similar chemical structure and pharmacological activity to those substances contained in the plant.”
Because of this definition, neither delta-9-THCO or delta-8-THCO are considered to be hemp by the DEA. “Delta-9-THCO and delta-8-THCO do not occur naturally in the cannabis plant and can only be obtained synthetically, and therefore do not fall under the definition of hemp,” wrote Boos.
He added that delta-9-THCO and delta-8-THCO have “similar chemical structures and pharmacological activities to those contained in the cannabis plant,” and thus meet the definition of “tetrahydrocannabinols,” which the agency classifies in Schedule I. He also included the molecular structure of delta-9-THCO and delta-8-THCO for reference at the end of the letter.
In a written statement from Michelle Bodian, a partner at Vicente Sederberg, Bodian explained what this news could mean for the industry. “While the latest statement from DEA does not clarify the legal status of all novel hemp derived cannabinoids, it does clarify that DEA believes Delta-9THCO and Delta-8THCO are controlled substances,” said Michelle Bodian, Partner at Vicente Sederberg. “Hopefully, there is Congressional action soon to address the legality of all hemp derived cannabinoids, so the industry is not left with a patchwork of law, regulation, policy and now, letter statements.”
While the government has been silent on a definitive course of action in regard to regulating delta products, state legislators have been left to take action on their own.
Delta-8 products were banned in New York in May 2021. Ohio created new rules to govern delta-8 products in June 2021, including production and sales. A new law introduced in Michigan in July 2021 also created regulations that limited the sale of delta-8 products to only cannabis businesses that were licensed by the Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency. Later in November 2021, a Texas judge issued a temporary injunction that removed delta-8 from the state’s list of Schedule I substances.
In May 2022, governmental agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sent out warning letters to businesses selling delta-8 products. “The FDA is very concerned about the growing popularity of delta-8 THC products being sold online and in stores nationwide,” said FDA Principal Deputy Commissioner Janet Woodcock. “These products often include claims that they treat or alleviate the side effects related to a wide variety of diseases or medical disorders, such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, nausea, and anxiety.”
In the most recent string of delta-related news, Connecticut Attorney General William Tong recently announced that his office was suing five retailers selling cannabis without a license, specifically in relation to delta-8 THC. “Cannabis products in Connecticut cannot be sold by unlicensed retailers and must meet rigorous testing and packaging requirements. Period,” said Tong in a statement. “Any unlicensed Connecticut retailer selling delta-8 THC products that purport to contain high levels of THC is breaking the law and may be subject to both criminal and civil penalties.”
Delta 11 tetrahydrocannabinol is yet another naturally occurring, extremely trace cannabinoid found in hemp, which new technology has allowed us to isolate and explore to see what it can offer us. And, while Delta 11 THC is still quite new, already it’s showing a lot of promise in our industry.
Let’s explore what we do know so far, and where you can find authentic, effective, and high-quality Delta 11 THC products. Binoid is one of the few brands that have embraced learning and supplying Delta 11 in product types such as Delta 11 vapes. Try these Delta 11 products using the code HIGHTIMES25 for 25% off your order with fast and free shipping.
Delta 11 THC is a legitimate cannabinoid in hemp, rather than a synthetic cannabinoid riding on the coattails of hemp’s growing popularity. First referenced in the early 1970s, there is very little information about it out there outside of the fact that it’s psychoactive, which isn’t surprising considering what we know about tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compounds in general. Like other THC compounds, Delta 11 is structurally similar to more prominent cannabinoids, meaning that the molecules of other forms of THC along with cannabidiol (CBD) can be rearranged to produce Delta 11 isolates at an efficient rate.
Is Delta 11 THC Identical to 11-hydroxy-THC?
A common mistake is confusing Delta 11 THC with 11-hydroxy THC, a metabolite found in the liver. These are two different things entirely. In fact, just simply do a Google search on “Delta 11 THC”, and you will see a lot of results for a THC metabolite called 11-hydroxy-THC, which isn’t the same thing as the natural phytocannabinoid Delta 11 THC.
It has become more recognizable in the field of cannabis pharmacokinetics that 11-hydroxy THC is what Delta 9 metabolizes into once it gets broken down by the liver’s enzymes, serving as a middleman of sorts, before converting into THC-COOH, which is what triggers a positive urine drug test result.
Delta 8 THC vs. Delta 9 THC vs. Delta 10 THC vs. Delta 11 THC
Essentially, THC form interacts with your body in a modified way. Why? This is mainly due to its unique chemical structure. These differences are unlikely to result in harm, but we’ll need to wait for more data to come in before making any firm conclusions regarding the comparative benefits of the various natural forms of THC.
How High Can I Get from Delta 11 THC?
Again, information on this cannabinoid is very limited, but one study has suggested that Delta 11 is about 3x as intoxicating as Delta 9 THC. But, that has yet to be verified by more research, but with more anecdotal reviews we should be able to understand more about how strong Delta 11 is.
Where To Buy Delta 11 THC Products
Delta 11 products and Delta 11 vapes just launched from popular hemp brands, such as Binoid who carries two disposables made with Delta 11 and 11 Hydroxy in a blend. Their Delta 11 vapes come in “This Slapz” strain and “Cherry Bonkers” strain. Both of these have gained wide popularity, and are taking the market by storm.
What Benefits Does Delta 11 THC Have?
Here’s another area where we know very little. No studies have shown the properties of Delta 11 THC, outside of its intoxicating nature. What we do know is that as a cannabinoid, Delta 11 works with cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body that regulate processes like mood, pain, inflammation, sleep, and cognition, among many others.
Which processes Delta 11 favors when it comes to offering regulatory abilities remains to be seen, but if this cannabinoid is similar to Delta 9, then we can predict that it can be a fantastic choice for those people looking for a mellower mood, uplifting effects, relief from physical discomfort, help with nausea, and perhaps a boost in appetite as well.
What Kinds of Products Does Delta 11 THC Come in?
Like we said, Delta 11 THC is brand new. These products will not be different from those that feature the other cannabinoids you’re already enjoying, like Delta 8 and Delta 10. The difference will be that they contain Delta 11 distillate rather than another cannabinoid distillate. You’re also likely to come across many strains for vaping products, and different flavors and milligram strengths for edibles.
Delta 11 THC vapes will be just like other vapes – promising a fast-acting, potent and short-lived high.
Delta 11 edibles, meanwhile, will give you the hours of effects with the stronger body high and calming nature that we associate with all THC gummies and other edible products.
Is Delta 11 Legal?
No laws single out Delta 11 THC, and since Delta 11 is not Delta 9 THC, it’s protected under federal law. Delta 11 is federally legal but will likely be illegal in states that have banned Delta 8 THC by default. If you live in the following states, you may not be able to legally access Delta 11 THC:
Is Delta 11 Safe?
As for the safety of Delta 11 THC, again we have no studies to refer to. But, there’s no reason to believe it’s unsafe in any way. Delta 11 is structurally similar to many cannabinoids we’ve taken over the years, and to date, there has not been a single toxic compound found in the hemp plant, even in its isolated and concentrated form. So, Delta 11 likely comes with the same mild, temporary side effects as other forms of THC, which include:
Impaired motor function

The cannabis market is evolving at a rate that can quickly leave the end consumer stunned. For starters, it’s growing in size – the U.S. market, valued at $10.8 billion in 2021, is forecast to almost quadruple by the next decade, according to a Grand View Research report.
Consumer habits and opinions are changing, too. For example, a 2019 study identified a trend wherein cannabis edibles were becoming increasingly popular among non-daily users while the use of smoking marijuana was declining among both daily and non-daily users.
Finally, the legal landscape has been changing, too. With 24 states, territories, and districts allowing for legal recreational use, things are looking up for the industry. But it’s the 2018 Hemp Farm Bill, which legalized industrial hemp with Delta 9 THC content up to 0.3%, that’s been most influential recently.
One problem with these ever-growing popular products is that the average cannabis consumer is confused by Delta 9 THC and thinks it’s Delta 8, bad, sketchy, or doesn’t get you high. All of which are false. Delta 9 THC is the same THC that cannabis consumers have consumed since the Native Americans used it.
The Florida-based company Kandy Boy is the perfect example of a cannabis company created to take advantage of all those innovations and trends. The company’s main products are Delta 9 THC gummies that contain 15mg of Delta 9 THC and High THCa Hemp Flower, which is considered hemp under federal law but has just as much Total THC in the flower as the dispensaries. Focusing on providing products that contain the THC people are used to consuming instead of having a large variety of products like Delta 8 THC companies.
Even more interesting is that the company is legally offering to ship their Delta 9 THC gummies to all 50 states. Its website even provides free samples, allowing skeptical consumers to try the product first. The company does charge a $2.99 shipping fee for a sample of 2 of their vegan 15mg delta 9 THC gummies.
From the very start, the company found it necessary to educate the consumers on their products, the process, and the broader community they served. To be able to ship to all states legally, the company relied on the wording of the Hemp Farm Bill that stated it’s able to sell hemp-derived THC as long as it stays within the 0.3% volume threshold. The products contain significant amounts of THC – the company states the gummies contain 15mg of THC, the same THC you would get at the dispensary.
“The total amount of 100% Delta 9 THC in a gummy is less than 0.3% of the gummy’s entire weight. So that’s how we can sell these across the country, and people can buy them without having a medical card,” says Benjamin Boyce, the company founder.
Legality aside, a whole other set of explanations was required to explain the difference between Delta 9 THC-tetrahydrocannabinol, or Delta 9 THC – the type of THC Kandy Boy uses – and the increasingly popular Delta 8 THC. The two compounds might belong to the same class – cannabinoids – and contain the same elements, but they are not identical. Instead, they are isomers, molecules with the same atoms but also something different. A double bond is located between the atoms in the case of Delta 9 THC and Delta 8 THC.
In a cannabis plant, most THC comes in the form of THCa and Delta 9 THC. So much so that when we talk about THC, we mean total THC, which is THCa x 0.877 + ∆9-THC = Total THC.
It’s that dominant. The significantly less present Delta 8 THC has some different properties than its isomeric companion. It’s said to be ⅓ the strength of Delta 9 THC, but more importantly, it’s not as highly regulated.
The recent boom in Delta 8 THC products has led the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to issue a series of warning letters to companies selling Delta 8 THC products that are not in compliance. In addition, due to an uptick in complaints of adverse effects, the FDA also released a five-point information bulletin to inform the public of some essential facts about the isomer Delta 8 THC.
Among those are the fact that no Delta 8 products have been evaluated or approved by the FDA. Also, thanks to the production process required to create an adequate concentration of Delta 8 THC, the use of harmful chemicals might go undisclosed.
“The regular THC, Delta-9 THC has been extensively studied for decades, so we know an awful lot about it,” says Boyce. “There’s no such wealth of knowledge on Delta 8, not to mention how the lack of regulation opens up the room for bad actors to come in with the bad and potentially harmful product.”
Even though the extraction of Delta 9 THC from hemp might involve similar processes as the extraction of Delta 8 THC, the increased oversight over Delta 9 THC can lead to better quality products. It certainly does in the case of Kandy Boy – their products are tested at a DEA-approved facility, not just for their THC contents. As a result, customers can easily access the test results for heavy metals, pesticides, mold, and fungi.
Kandy Boy went a step further to make accessing their product as convenient as possible. The company recently launched its app on the App Store & Google Play and has started a delivery service around Panama City, Florida. However, Boyce said, “More people are buying off the truck while driving around than ordering off the app, but a lot of people see Delta 9 THC and think it’s something different, or it’s Delta 8. We’re working to educate the cannabis community, but to them, something like this seems unbelievable.”
Kandy Boy is also pushing the envelope with their latest product THCa Flower, which only ships to some states which is cannabis that may look, feel, taste, and smell exactly like marijuana and is classified as hemp when the Delta 9 THC content is less than .3% Delta 9 THC. Kandy Boy says, “You need not worry about the low Delta 9 content in our flower. In fact, most dispensary flowers are actually below 0.3% ∆9-THC. It’s the THCa that gets you high.”
With the changing tides and opinions on the use of marijuana in the whole country, it’s sometimes easy to forget that too many people were put in jail while old laws were on the books. Kandy Boy does its part to shine the light on the plight of all those people and take concrete steps to help.
“With so many people in jail for cannabis, the Last Prisoner Project is something I support. We are currently donating 5% of every sale to Last Prisoner Project, a non-profit dedicated to helping free the 40,000 non-violent cannabis offenders from the American prison system. I wanted to create a company that could provide a great product that tasted amazing, was more effective than the dispensary gummy, and costs a lot less, all at the same time helping give back to the cannabis prisoners,” says Boyce.
