MY STORY
Most people probably know me best form my volunteer work with the Oregon SunGrowers Guild. I started volunteering with the OSGG in 2014 and am now the current elected Secretary of its board of directors. I started my work in the world of cannabis in 2012 when I left the USAF and came back to Oregon. I started learning how to grow cannabis for my little brother who had recently become a patient under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP). Shortly after I became a patient myself because I found that cannabinoid therapy helped me manage some of my more persistent medical issues.
Since then a lot has changed. I’m no longer a registered OMMP grower. The constant changes to the rules that affect patients and their growers along with the implementation of Oregon’s new adult-use distribution network had made it impossible for me to continue. In addition to my volunteer work with the OSGG, I’m now the Sales Director for a cannabusiness development company called Omnibudsman Enterprises and the CEO for a non-profit that helps Oregon’s OMMP patients get better access to products, services and other therapies that improve their quality of life and reduce their cost of care, Project:Scarecrow. It is my mission to have a positive and widespread effect on the cannabis community and I’m looking forward to seeing you out there.
